Levine Keszler advises the Onoré Group on its acquisition of So Mochi
The Onoré Group, an international player specialising in the production of premium frozen products, announces the acquisition of So Mochi, a French specialist in frozen mochi.
Continuing its development, the Onoré Group, backed by Waterland Private Equity, has completed its fourth acquisition in two years – and its first in France. This transaction strengthens the group’s premium product offering as part of its international expansion strategy, particularly with flagship brands such as Boncolac, the leader in frozen pastries and snacks.
Thanks to its French ice cream expertise and respect for traditional Asian mochi rice paste production methods, So Mochi has combined industrial expertise and authenticity to become one of the top five players in this segment and the premium reference for frozen mochi in France and Europe.
This transaction enables So Mochi to join a group with €200 million in revenue. The Onoré Group is headquartered in Toulouse and has seven production sites in France and England, employing more than 1,000 people.
This transaction enables Ennov to offer a broader range of solutions designed to drive efficiency, ensure compliance and foster innovation across the global life sciences industry.
Levine Keszler advised Groupe Onoré on this acquisition.
