Levine Keszler advises Alliance Electronics on its acquisition of Groupe B3C
Alliance Electronics has acquired Groupe B3C (comprising Elekto Industrie and TME), which specialises in the manufacture of circuit boards and the integration of electronic assemblies into high-tech products for industrial customers.
Thanks to its cutting-edge expertise and end-to-end services, from design to complete integration of electronic systems, Alliance Electronics, backed by Waterland Private Equity, has established itself as a leading player in its sector. With various sites in France, Portugal and Tunisia, the group led by Damien Rossignon and Armel Fourreau is developing a network of shared expertise with a wide range of skills to meet the needs of its many customers, and aims to become the European leader in High-Mix Low-Volume.
This transaction is part of Alliance Electronics’ organic and external growth strategy. Elekto Industrie and TME have recognised know-how and expertise based on 160 employees working in Mayenne at the Andouillé and Gorron sites. This new acquisition enables Alliance Electronics to expand its presence in France and internationally, particularly in the image processing, aerospace, defence and telecoms sectors.
Bruno Sonnet, majority shareholder of Groupe B3C, and the management team have invested in Alliance Electronics as part of this transaction.
The transaction was financed in particular by an equity contribution from Waterland Private Equity and senior financing arranged by LCL.
