Levine Keszler advises SOCOTEC on its acquisition of Levage Manutention Formation (LMF)
LMF is a training organisation specialising in the operation of lifting and handling equipment. The company is certified to deliver CACES® training and operates in various sectors, including public works.
With this acquisition, SOCOTEC is strengthening its technical training offering in the Paris region and reinforcing its ambition to be one of the leaders in regulatory and technical professional training in France.
Since its creation in 2001, LMF has trained nearly 120,000 learners thanks to a team of 30 qualified and experienced trainers, a wide range of training courses and permanent, high-quality facilities that allow trainees to practise in real-life situations (two training sites, 20, 000 m² of covered space and buildings, and more than 60 machines). Its CACES® construction machinery training programme is recognised in France and further strengthens SOCOTEC’s already recognised technical expertise.
SOCOTEC now has a training business in France worth nearly €50 million, with a presence throughout the country and 17 training sites, 30 training centres and 1,127 experts and trainers specialising in technical QHSE training or the construction sector.
