The Socotec Group acquires a stake in Bim In Motion, a start-up specialising in building information modelling Levine Keszler advises the Socotec Group on this transaction
The Socotec Group, which has been in an LBO with Cobepa and Five Arrows since 2013, is stepping up its deployment in the building information modelling (BIM) sector by acquiring a stake in French start-up Bim In Motion.
Founded in 2015 and with six employees based in Paris, Lyon and Montpellier, Bim In Motion is one of the very first companies to have committed to providing BIM support to clients and players in the construction industry. This technology enables the creation of virtual models of buildings to facilitate their design, construction, use and control.
Socotec’s acquisition of a stake in Bim in Motion is designed both to support the company’s growth and to accelerate the roll-out of Socotec’s BIM offerings, particularly within its 135 Construction & Real Estate branches in France.
Levine Keszler advised the Socotec Group on this transaction.
