Levine Keszler advises SOCOTEC Group on the acquisition of ASCAUDIT

The SOCOTEC Group has acquired 100% of ASCAUDIT, a company with 10 locations throughout France.

With 135 experts and €12 million in revenue, ASCAUDIT is a recognised leader in its market for specialised engineering services covering the entire building life cycle. Its expertise enables it to bring together, under a single point of contact, all the technical consulting services required to meet the digital, energy, environmental and regulatory challenges facing the building sector. ASCAUDIT works directly on major commercial projects, as well as with social landlords, large co-ownerships and local authorities.

ASCAUDIT provides them with comprehensive solutions from a single point of contact:

  • lifts and transport (consultancy and comprehensive expertise),
  • energy performance (energy engineering, fluids, HVAC and electricity),
  • accessibility (from ADAP PAVE diagnosis to TCE support).

Thanks to the positions of ASCAUDIT and SOCOTEC – particularly through its subsidiary SOCOTEC Smart Solutions – the SOCOTEC group is now the third largest independent player in the property and building consulting and engineering market.

ASCAUDIT joins the SOCOTEC Smart Solutions subsidiary of the SOCOTEC group, which offers a comprehensive range of specialist engineering solutions to support public and private players in improving the energy performance, accessibility and safety (particularly fire safety) of their buildings. The company also provides equivalent effect certification services under the ESSOC law for all innovation projects. As part of a three-way partnership between a financier, an investor and a builder, SOCOTEC Smart Solutions provides advice and guidance on compliance with methodologies, administrative, technical and architectural regulations, as well as on adherence to schedules, budgets and calls for funds, which are inherent in any construction or renovation project involving real estate assets. Its objective is to facilitate the energy transition of buildings to improve their compliance, performance and safety.
