Levine Keszler advises SOCOTEC Group on merger with ARTIFEX
SOCOTEC Environment and ARTIFEX are joining forces to create a leader in France in Testing, Inspection and Certification for environmental solutions.
ARTIFEX, an environmental engineering and consulting firm, was founded in the Tarn region over 40 years ago and has key talents and skills with nearly 130 environmental experts (ecologists, environmentalists, specialists).
SOCOTEC France has long-standing expertise in environmental and low-carbon solutions, with nearly 530 expert employees working within its SOCOTEC Environment division.
This merger will enable ARTIFEX to pursue its ambitions for national expansion and SOCOTEC to enhance its expertise in biodiversity, agronomy, landscaping, water and climate management, and to strengthen its position in the fields of renewable energy, agrivoltaics, quarries and industry.
Founded in 1983, ARTIFEX has grown steadily, developing its environmental, climate, landscape, hydrological and agricultural expertise while remaining firmly rooted in the regions. From its head office in Albi, the company has expanded and established itself in Rodez, Montélimar, Saintes, Clermont-Ferrand and Dijon in order to be closer to its customers. It has a strong reputation based on widely recognised expertise and customer-focused values that have made it a success.
